I'm an MR2 owner again !!!

Post by magic »

After losing my last MR2 in a nasty smash back in April, I'm please to say that I'm back on the road after picking up another Rev 3 n/a.

This ones a red 1994 G-Limited with FSH sitting on some nice 17" rims.

Managed to get her for a very reasonable price too!!

I had toyed with the idea of an FTO but after test driving the MR2 I realised that there was nothing in the same price range that was ever going to live up to the MR2 !!

Can't wait to pick the car up tomorrow !!!!

I went over to FTO-ville for a while and I actually really liked it. Lovely looking cars, lovely V6 purr, but it felt cheap in comparison to the MR2 and it didn't have that masculine rear wheel drive feel to it. Saying that. its a different animal and you can't compare the two.

That said, if I ever leave the MR2 world I'd have another FTO (even though I see more on the road than MR2's now).

Also, I did have a manual gearbox FTO. Wouldn't pansy around with an auto in any car. I mean - wheres the fun in that!

Scores on the board...MR2 - 4, FTO - 1.

There's simply something about having the engine in the mid/rear section of a car.
