2008 Restoration Show

Post by monkeymax »

Restoration Show
Stoneleigh, Sunday 26th October

Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, CV8 2LZ

This year the restoration show is only once - on the 26th Oct.

Last year, in spite of the difficulties with my car, I enjoyed it and I know others did too.
So, although I don't currently know if we have a stand this year, is anyone interested in doing it this year?

Some photos from last year to spurn interest... ;)

Project ideas? How about a game of 'find the mahoosive leak' on my car, involving such joyous activities as 'removing the entire dashboard' and crying as it all falls apart :(

 you already spend most of your working days indoors Chris..... in a train cab !! :oldtongue: get your rest day booked & come along, i would like to come along to this guys, but cant commit yet as i dont know how much leave i have left after the Scotland trip , i believe this show will be one of the items under discussion at the AGM, so more info will be revealed once that is out of the way.
Has anyone decided who is going to be the organiser for this one ?, this was one of Jo's first shows as organiser & she did a cracking job.... & we won cash too, for top stand !!! :thumleft: , Jinxy

I've known non MK1 Club members to help in the past. As the day goes on you usually need all the help you can get.

Phil and I wont be able to make it as it's the final round of the Toyota Sprint Series in Teesside.

Our red one looks in need of a new water pump ad thermostat.

Anyone in contact with the organisers to make sure there's room, we may be too late to book?

 Yeah - not really. In my defence, it was a Saturday and I was in the office working so my mind was elsewhere...

I guess encourage would be a more appropriate word. #-o

Oh, and by the way; thats should be that's.

Vix - if you could do that, that'd be fantastic!
