Stuart, our Chairman is compiling the agenda, so any topics to add to the agenda should be emailed to him:

[edit] this will give the committee time before hand to investigate certain points raised and be on hand on the day with all the answers. When [edit]emailing points you would like raising please keep it short and sweet.

So what we need to also know is who will be attending the AGM, can you please paste in your name if you plan to be there [edit]

Good idea. (I've stickied the thread - after all, it's probably only around a month away)

Unfortunately I don't have details of the time & date with me in the office.

I really hope I won't be the only non-committee/organiser there this year.

Max is right, we need as many Club members as possible to be there. It might be a good idea to make a night of it with the option of a hotel stay on the Saturday night with a meal. I'm sure the AGM is on the 1st Sunday of October at Gaydon Motor Museum.

AGM Attendies

1. Jinxy + Guest
2. Michael + Joanne Sheavills

Last I heard it was the 5th Oct, although this was different to what other people were saying at JAE :/ We can make it on the 5th but no other weekend.

Please note the date has now been changed to the 12th October, and as such, Phil and I can't make it.

That is a shame as I would have thought it imperitive the new webmaster be there.

Who changed the date?

I see the person who influenced the date change has not responded to my question...

The AGM can not go ahead without the treasurer or the webmaster there. It's will be 100% absolutely pointless.

It either needs to be moved back to the 5th or yet another date confirmed.

I also find the reasons it's been moved as well as decision made wasn't run by other committee mermbers absolutely insane... :?

Garrick - I'm not sure if we can make it either.

Shame none of the committee was consulted before the change of date (me/vix) :-k

Hi Garrick :thumleft: , the person who changed the date doesnt frequent the MK1 club forum on IMOC, which i must admit is a little odd to say the least :-k thats why you probably havnt had your question answered, when Stuart phoned me on Friday of last week he told me he had changed the date, he gave no explanation why, but said he had been offered that date as there had been a cancelation, i was under the impression that everyone had already been told, & thought he had changed it as not everyone could make the earlier date, he also told me he had been in contact with the printers & had them change the date in the club mag too  , but it wasnt until i spoke to Phil & Vix at JAE that i realised they hadnt been told either, Stuart told me on the Thursday he had tried to contact Karl & Lou regarding the Late distribution of the mag, but couldnt get in contact, apparently Fred & dorris were waiting to distribute the mags :-k he asked me to let everyone who was at JAE I.E members know the date change, but as i said above i thought the commitee was already aware of it :-k , thats all i know :-k , cheers, Jinxy

I really can't put accross how dissapointed I am right now without seriously compromising my relationship with the club.

Over and out.

Good luck MK1 Club :thumleft:

Yes, to be honest, an AGM without webmaster and treasurer does seem pointless.

Yup - I agree. Also, it's a bit disappointing the date was changed so close to the time of the event. It's all good and well that Stuart phoned a few of you, but the first I heard of it was when the changed date was put on here. I'm pretty sure that the date was set last year (I remembered it as being beginning of Oct but that's it). If the date change didn't make it to the latest edition of the mag, how will other normal members who don't use the forum know about the change of date?
Yet another reason why it ends up as just committee there...

I've moved my trip back a week now (for this) so will be there.

I would like to come along and I am a fully paid up member.
However if your saying that I can't bring my girlfriend along then I won't bother.
I won't pay up membership for next year and stay as IMOC only.

Also, I agree with Garrick that an AGM without the committe is pointless. As they are all that usually turn up anyway.
