[Mk2] [Generic] Body Kit Suppliers..........

Post by craig_mr2_mk1 »

Hi, Looking to buy a border Kit from Ebay, Heard a few horror stories from people buying shoddy fitting kits so just want to know who to stay away from and who produce good fitting kits.

Cheers

Cool, will do. I think if and when i buy one im going to go and pick it up and try the side skirts and spats for fitment and make sure they fit before handing over any cash!

Hi,

Keep away from 'Faststyling' too.....had a few topics on this with bad comments about fitting etc...

Go for Rogue which you can find in the drop down list at the bottom, they sell good quality stuff :thumleft:

Replikit,

Do not use. They are rubish.

I brought my border off ebay cheap. But don't know where I got it. It wasn't bad but not a great fit. I'll see if I can find it

Well i brought a Toms rear Bumper off Shabz on here, got it primmered up and fits fine.
I brought some border skirts and spats off a member on here that supposidly fitted and they never! I spent 4 hours making the skirts fit which they now do and i've also made the spats fit which i will sell on.
I've also purchased a second hand Border Fronnt bumper which has come off a car so hoping to get hold of that this weekend then its off to be all sprayed up.
I think its cost me about £250 for the kit plus i'd say £20 for primmer and prep materials. My old man can spray so when payday arrives im off to get some paint and thinners ready for a partial respray. Can't wait. Shame the car is tucked away now untill next year!
