[Mk2] [Turbo] laggy turbo

boost is crap basically acceleration is not as quick as it was , do I need a new turbo ? . does a compression test check how the turbo performs can a local garage check this aswell ? . any help appreciated thanks

Agree, first port off call as loads of things could cause the ecu to run in safe mode :-k

I dont think I had any codes , i done the test and all i had was the lamp indictor continually flashing which means its ok isn't it?

no, when it flashes then that is the ecu giving you the code :wink:

IIRC it continually flashes meaning theres no codes stored
TOTB 2010 Rwd top speed, 1/4 and shootout winner.
10.7@142 on R888 street tyres, 10.3@134mph on slicks,
9's on slicks to come, with a clean full throttle pass! Goal of 0-150mph in a 1/4 of a mile....

the yellow check engine light in the top left corner of the other symbols was continually flashing when I hooked up the terminals.
