Guys please can you be aware that the time is nearing for payment. I suspect only a few have actually paid and I also suspect there will be a few more drop outs. Which puts the Mr2 exclusive track day in jepordy.

As a result I am proposing that another car club join us on track, I hope people wont object. Realistically if everyone on the list at the moment does come we still dont have enough to secure the day.

The other club would be the Welsh Performance Car Club. A really nice bunch of people (done a track day with them in the past) and its a mixed bag of cars which should keep things interesting.

Does anyone object - its only a possibility at the moment.

I have checked with Llandow and it seems Nick (freefall) is the only person to have paid so far (excluding me).

Please be aware that payment is needed by the 21st. If Llandow dont get payment from all those interested then the day will be opened up to the public. Therefore we will loose the exclusive use of the track which will be a shame.

Can those who definatley intend to pay let me know?

Going to going to be away for a week on hols and wont be near a internet connection. I will answer any queries when I get back.

All the information you need to make payment is contained in this thread - Payment can be made by card and over the phone.

Can everyone you has said they are interested make sure they pay up by the 21st of September, if you havent paid by then the spaces will be open to the general public and you may miss your space.

I'll sort payment out early next week b4 21st either me or my bro will be there, i just need to make sure car is ready to run but worse case the rev 2 can be put forward if my rev 1 has any more knocks
Also need to sort out a helmet as i'm sure i'll be on a few tracks this/next year with at least 1 of my cars

Will also bring my camcorder for inside and general use and can upload for you all to grab size isnt important

Also have a nearly new projector and 6ft 5" by 6ft 7" screen i may be selling if any organisers are looking for 1 to show at party's etc

Payment

Payment must be made by the 21st September.

Llandow will take payment directly over the phone (credit or debit)

Call 01446 796 460 - speak to Sharon, say you are with the MR2 track day on the 21st October.

They will make a note of your names so I can chase the non payers.

Costs

Cost is £100 per car and driver.

Second drivers are £25 - you can pay at the same time you pay for your own place - second drivers MUST be present at the driver briefing.

Passengers can pay on the day and DONT need to be present at the briefing. Charge is £10.

I decided that I didnt want to drive at a silly time in the morning from S. London to Cardiff so have booked a B and B in LLandow - £35 for a night and with huge breakfast and less than a mile from the track. There are cheaper but i will be able to get there in less than 5 mins!

We wont have exclusive use, but there will be a few other car makes on track which will keep things interesting. I am certain everyone will have a fantastic day out.

Lauren is on hand to give a few pointers for those new to track driving.

There seems to be quite a few spectators heading down to watch and blag some joy rides.

Everyone can also laugh as I try and drift the N2 and probably crash it, as I will be bringing my drift wheels down for shits and giggles.
