LOL, lots of questions, eh?!

Pete, if you just flash your lights normally (i.e. if they were off) do they respond quickly? Its just that they seem to take a few seconds to warm up on normal beam, but is this also the case when you just flash them?
(Don't really understand the bi-xenon stuff, but then I've not looked it up yet...)

Edit: Oh, and will these just work in MR2s or will they work in any car with H4 headlight bulbs? (I believe it's the latter, but just want to confirm)

I'll try and answer.

I think you'll get enough light for a flash when they're cold - probably similar to normal halogen intensity at least. Obviously you get full illumination when headlights are on and you flash/set main beam as its just the shroud repositioning - going by Pete J's description.

I think these will work in any car, period. The H4 is just w.r.t. the bulb is it not?

Thanks for the help Leeroy. It's not often I spend this much on lights so want to be sure I'm not going to regret it! (though I doubt this will be the case!)

That's what I was thinking - they are H4 bulbs after all...

Gotta say after watching pete's video it sold me on getting a set of these.
Damn my car's getting all the treats at the moment but its gotta be done :)
Put me down for a set of 4.3k plz. Would be interested in spare bulbs as well if they are going to be included in a bundle.

After reading online i found the following info...

K Rating Colour Name Light Level

4300k Xtreme White 3100Lm
6000k Diamond White 2900Lm
8000k Iceberg Blue 2500Lm
10000k Brilliant Blue 2300Lm
12000k Violet Purple 2000Lm

HTH people with their choices :)

So with the light drop from 6000K to 8000K i'm going to ask if its OK if i go back to 6000K?

6000K Has been described as "crystal white light with a delicate blue tint" so that sounds like the one for me...list updated...

Cant hear it at all.. in the vid my phone was resting between the headlamps, so it picked the noise up easily.

Hmmm very tempting......where'd you get them ?

The supplier is willing to do a pair of bulbs at £25.

So - amend if you'd like a pair of extra bulbs (and what K they should be). I'll keep it open until tomorrow night, and then I'll contact the people on the list with payment details.

Thanks all for the interest

pair of the HID / Halogen H4 bulbs. You could have them for spares, or you could have them in a different K rating for show.. £15 each, or 2 for £25.
