ooookay....
So it's back running with no fluid leaks.
The car is safely supported and I wanted to check that the turbo is doing its thing.
2nd gear about 3000rpm and loaded with the brakes, nothing showing on boost gauge. Would this test work or is there a better way of testing without actually driving it ?

Ha ha yes we went abit off topic ... im so in for this and had i think every problem known to the mr2 community ... suck it n see go for a drive and report back buddy

If it's a standard boost gauge don't trust that for a reading. If you're confident there's no leaks warm up stationary, if happy take for a short road test.
