Well that would depend on who's doing the missing.

I'm sure if we keep :-$ , we'll be OK with Kong's Mrs.

But Craig? :-k Hmmm, he'd miss a cup of petrol out of his tank.

However, Craig the mighty, longterm supporter of all things MR2 and IMOC will no doubt be more than willing to donate his shell to Kong should Kong decide to build a Phoenix.

Craig! You are da Man! :thumleft:

Yep, I would be willing to donate my tintop shell to Kong to keep his MR2 alive. :thumleft:

The shell is even MOT'd till Aug 14.

Nice one Craig :thumleft: as a reward for your generosity I promise that I will not post a single Hoff. Picture with some derogatory comment on your thread for ONE WHOLE WEEK
Joking aside its an amazing offer and I hope that Kong can persuade Mrs. Kong to let him build up his car from your shell. Well done Craig

Always gutting to see any car go up in flames, but do remeber when your dismantling to wear gloves as certain components when burnt can turn highly acidic when in contact with skin, hope you get it rebuilt into another shell

Thanks for the offer Craig - appreciate it bud :thumleft:

Unfortunately I cannot get approval to ressurect the MR2 in all its glory. In fact I have been told 7 seats+diesel are the primary requirement now :eye:

However it does mean there will be some tasty parts coming up for sale now!

I will however be hanging on to the phoenix power front bumper in the readiness for when I finally do get another MR2 (especially after the ballache to finally get hold of it ).

Hi Kong,

Is a shame tho bud. If I were you & had a loft or enough garage space, I'd be tempted to keep all the best bits that would be difficult to find again in readiness for your next 2.

As sure eggs you'll be back and it'll be more difficult to find these parts again

Having sold my 2 in 2008 and bought the 5 seater family car (still got it lol), I feel your pain

Good luck in everything you do mate,

Ps if your arch roller is still at Petes, I'm going up to collect the lifeline kit plus my carbon bonnet and mirror tbar glass so
I'll get my arches rolled then

Thanks for the use of this mate :thumleft:

Trust me if it were up to me I'd be getting a wide arched MR2 setup with all my bits in it

I am tempted to keep some of the bits if I'm honest because I know that I will be back in a 2 at some point but storage will be a problem as I already have a large shed full of car stuff that my wife wants me to shift so it's not going to be storable at home that's for sure :eye:

Yep you should deffo keep some of the harder to get pieces, i.e TRD stuff, as they're discontinued!

Just get rid of the not so rarer parts, and keep the good stuff :thumleft:

Im sure Peter wouldnt mind keeping your Phoenix power front bumper suspended from his garage, its just his way of keeping bigger versions of Airfix Models he he
