I have an '02 E46 325ci. The petrol light came on yesterday. I put £6.50 of unleaded in it. The petrol light is STILL on.

The car is being sold on tomorrow afternoon, and the MR2 is getting picked up on the weekend.

I regularly get over 300 miles, and that's even before the light comes on \:D/

356.5 miles is my record.
The light was on the last 40 miles and were driven very carefully at a steady-ish 60mph :D The previous 310 were driven normally.

Can't remember the last time I had a full tank of petrol, lol. Usually just stick £25 in which is around half a tank. BUT I've worked out that I can get 150 miles to half a tank driving quite steadily and that's with topping it up soon after the orange light comes on. So, in theory I should get at least 300 miles to a tank, possibly a bit more.

All depends how you drive. The N/A can become very uneconomical if you rag it. I've had as little as 80 miles to half a tank before when revving it hard.

You know what gets on my boobs? That git Mark Edwards gets 400miles per tank, he can use his 'longer gearing' to get 500mph and he gets 0-60 in 4 secs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Blimey - that's good - what mods do you have on the engine?

I wondered if my Apexi induction kit might be contributing to my poor fuel economy...
