Yeah I think people tend to book trackdays closer to the time.

've just spent an entertaining quarter of an hour on Google trying to work out how far the details have got - and I'm amazed at how many forums have picked up on it! Good to see that the general consensus is positive as well, so I'm confident that plenty more will join in as we near the day

Hi Ben,

The thinking behind the “Toyota Only” concept still holds good to me.
We currently are almost half full with just over 5 weeks to go and that is not bad for an idea like this.
If you have Toyota UK involvement too I think it would be counter productive to dilute the exclusivity at this stage. I am happy to consider opening it up a bit nearer the time if the take up is not improved.

So, er, looks like it's being kept as Toyota only for the time being. Sorry, collective 'vette and 'busa owners - it's Colin's trackday and I can't really argue with his thinking. I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised with the take-up.

Colin will let me know as and when it's opened up to the general public the only thing I can really suggest would be to keep checking back. Sorry I can't be any less vague

Despite the fact it puts me out of the track day - I actually agree with the premise It could be quite a big deal for various Toyota factions to be able to fill a track day themselves.
