Sadly I can no longer make it this year, my mate has *selfishly* booked his stag do for the same weekend :(

I'll think of you all while I'm in Lisbon drinking euro-lager :eye:

You can still do the Thursday night and the Friday night!

Think of it as stag warm up!

Tickets are normally £25 per person.
That covers everything.

Except you need to bring you own camping gear, food (unless you buy on site) (oh and except Saturday night when we have hog roast) and alcohol.

Come anyway?

My first JAE (2003) my arches were held together with duct tape.
In 2011 I went in a Citroen
In 2012 I went in a Fiat

Its about the craic, the people as well as cars.
Doesn't need to be a show piece.

Basically, just need to be there

Ok that sounds good. I'll try my best to make it. Do you need a stand pass?

There are no stand passes as such, we like to know who is coming, but you can come last minute and still put a car on the stand. We always make sure there is some spare room.

It can be quite family friendly, plenty of cars to see and its not a show where you'll have scantily clad girls everywhere draped on bonnets (for some of us thats a disaapointment)

It all depends on how old they are, there is plenty to see, Wicksteed has its own small fairground area with roller coaster etc. On our stand we have music (generally kept to relatively clean level for language) and we have things like Xbox racing etc.

However do bear in mind there is also considerable alcohol consumption as a general rule, sometimes language does get a bit "fruity" later into the evening.

Many people have brought their kids along and all said they were made to feel welcome.

I might have focussed a bit on the negatives there.

No half naked women !!!!!! Disappointed have to get my moobs out to make up for that.

Next year kids will be 7 and 9 so sounds like could be good fun for them.

Language after alcohol  have to put up with me

I certainly hope to try and make it, never been before but it sounds like a good laugh and it would be good to put some faces to names. Only obstacle to overcome is that it's right over my girlfriends's birthday... some heavy convincing may need to take place! :|

Just tell her you are whisking her off somewhere exotic for her birthday, where a taste of Japanese culture can be sampled (Japanese cars), along with al- fresco dining (hog roast on the saturday night and BBQ on the Friday night), live music (Malcolms attempt at Karaoke), cosy accommodation (your tent and sleeping bag) and you have laid on a free massive firework display just for her birthday (and the rest of the Wicksteed park car club population)......

Cant fail to impress her with that....(just don't mention the bits in the brackets!)
