Do you know if the standard bonnet catch just bolts straight back on ? I messaged the seller a few days ago but no answer :(

Don't know mate, I presume so? But bonnet pins are a must, that I do know!!

Just looked at the pics of the bonnet fitted, there are no bonnet pins fitted, so presume that the bonnet is shut on the standard catch?

Would be nice if thats the case . If I get time I`ll ring the supplier . usually Im at work while they are open then off when they are shut . Might have to make a sneaky call in work time to find out .

They are £500 on the sellers website so don`t want to miss one while they are reduced .

They don`t look too bad . Cutting carbon is not that nice though . I found a dremel cut off wheel about the best thing but I would be worried about nackering the bonnet with a bad cut .

The lights are a huge improvement. :thumleft:

What's the motivation for buying a carbon bonnet? Aesthetics or weight reduction?

Certainly are :)

Motivation for me is looks and my original bonnet has a few stone chips . Nowt terrible but enough that it is doing my head in and will probably get it painted if I don`t buy a carbon one instead .
