I'm quite happy developers milk the console crowd and provide PC versions at a more reasonable price :)

Nah, no need to go down that route again. Either way of playing is pretty cool in all honesty. Heck, if I were more of a serious gamer, I'd be on xbox live.

Story..

I'd just installed the Xbox and I'd a few friends have prodded me into buying Las Vegas Rainbos six or something? We'd all just appeared on the level and I was bashing the controller to figure out the keys and shot my friend was had appeared in front of me in the head. Blam. His body flew forward landing flat on the floor and we all burst out laughing.

We lost that match.

I didnt get on too well with R6LV, I found it too hard, tedius and boring. Played through about half of it then traded it in for something else.

I appreciate if you really are obsessed with tactical shooters it's good. But I prefer story and variation, of which it has none.

Nah that's been done to death :) I play on the PC because i love FPS games and i find the keyboard/mouse combo of a PC to be superior to the joypad controls of a console. Cheaper games are just a bonus, though offset somewhat by the cost of building a decent PC to play them on. Plus the fact the wife can watch tv instead of watching me shooting the limbs of Necromorphs

I popped into the local Morrisons last night and they were sold out. :(

For those that have met excalibur1814 - do you think he looks a little bit like Isaac Clarke? :oldtongue:

So after paying full price at the weekend, it's down to less than thirty quid!

I'm on the penultimate chapter and it's been every bit as good as the first one. Really, really enjoyed it. I've even ordered the Wii game to fill in some of the back story. :thumleft:

I was playing it on medium, but tbh, on the PS3 you get trophies, not points, so other than a couple of extra's for finishing it on harder levels it makes no difference what level you play at. So I switched it to easy. If there's one bad thing i can say about this game is that there seems to be too big a gap in difficulty between easy and medium. I wouldnt even bother playing it on anything harder than medium.

I'm into Chapter 14 now but my game time has been cut drastically. I would have finished it weeks ago if it wasnt for problems at home and staying away.
