Re: 1993 GT Turbo , small update
well my car is poorly sick clutch has gone and ive an oil leak. bought a exedy stage 1 clutch and will deal with the oil leak at the same time. the oil leak appears to be from the oil feed and return pipes from the turbo ( a right bu88er to get at ) i'll post some pics when i get round to doing it

Re: 1993 GT Turbo , small update
well the clutch is now fitted and the oil leak has been resolved
i will stick to paint spraying in the future what a pig of a job fitting a clutch is lost skin off my knuckles , endless amounts of engine cack in the face and eyes , gear box oil fragrance didnt go down to well with the missus either the oil leak itself was due to what i believe was the wrong type of gasket fitted ! when i took the oil feed and return pipes off from the underside of the turbo, i could see on the pipe housing a mark where the original gasket fitted and i presume it was a metal type gasket that squashes and seals once tightened up . when i removed the pipes in question it had gasket paper on it instead of the proper gasket . once i had the feed and return pipes off i could see that the flange was not flat by about a 1 millimetre hence it was leaking . i simply used a file to make the surface flat and made a gasket myself and its cured now . i rang the toyota dealer to buy the correct gasket but they said they hadnt much call for them and it would take over a week to get one ! i am convinced ive cured the leak now the 2 surfaces are flat so thats that . i didnt want my car off road any longer
you can see in the pic how much oil was leaking from the oil feed and return pipes !! underside of the engine wet and the gearbox
you can see the underside of the turbo wet with oil and the black pipes are the culprits
this was a damn heavy gearbox
i am pleased it done now and will continue my search for some spats now
