Sadly no on-board... would have been cool in hindsight since the car completed a mammoth 180laps!! Gersen did around 30-40 of them!!

2 vids are of me, the 2nd one over-runs suficient to see the 'teg sliding on through!

Not just Anglesey, same with most circuits, it's about maintaining speed rather than acceleration.
Although saying that, I'd say my mk2 was quicker around there than my mk1, even being careful with the tyres and running 17s. Gave the Cayman a good run for several laps too :)
But ultimately yes, handling>power.

I'd like to echo Stu's comments and say a big thanks from the ROC contingent for the invite, I'd also like to apologise for the impromptu Committee meeting that made us seem very unsociable for an hour or so, you know what its like when you start talking

Thanks to Anna for organising the accomadation, "Top job"

and thanks to all who assisted with my slightly molten roadster on saturday especially Chris (Hope I rememeberd the name right ) for offering the loan of any metal brackets we could find especially those highly expensive looking ones for securing his nitrous.

and thanks to Toni's hubbie for the loan of the asthma medication, of all the things to forget on a weekend away

I have an excellent shot of you chasing Luthor coming into Abbotts
(I think it was you Chris - too many blue Mk1's to be sure - you should of left the boot rack on) - went and bloody underexposed it tho :(

The cunning amongst you may be able to rescue it somehow - I include my effort at photoshopping if it's any use.

Sorry Lauren but I only got one of Das Barge - it is nicely sideways into School at least - didn't have my wide angle lens so couldn't fit you in on most corners  Any attempt to mention anything about Mk2 Turbo rear tyre sizes will have me running to photoshop and adding M3 badges and a Skoda Estelle going round the outside - it's all lies I tell you!

One of you too Pitcher - I think your car is one of the nicest Rev2's I've seen - and I include my own in that!

Oh and just for the cheating 'Teg owners with double wishbones all round - Sorry 'bout the quality DoM but it's a still camera and I was having trouble holding it still for the laughing - Quality sideways thuggery in a FWD mate - kudos to you sir! ;)

Think Goto10, Luthor1 and Adam are in there too don't know who the green Mk3 is though - again excuse the quality.

Feeling kinda left out... LOL

Did anyone get any pics/vids of my car? I know there's about 10 seconds in the begining of AdamB's 1st video, but any more?

Might be due to my car having 2 drivers, and us completing 180laps during the day with a 40lap marathon by me just after lunch?? All the snappy people were out then I think

You should see the pic before that when i'm halfway round the hairpin, looks like the front tyre is gonna detach itself from the wheel!!

Infact I should have it somewhere.... .... ....

Cheers mate :)

The engine bay - after we mopped up all the oil that spilled in transit :eye:

Note to self: Always replace oil filler cap after topping up with oil ](*,)
