Good choice .

What a/r have you gone for? Mine is 0.82.

I don't suppose your Corolla mate has a boost map from the dyno does he? I'd be interested to see the spool characteristics on a different engine.

just have this niggling thought that if I rip out the wiring, then the car will never get out of the garage again.

Still in the garage...

Going for a .62, the Corolla is using a .82 but it's a fair bit lighter than the mr2. I'll ask about the map for you, it's only mapped for 340bhp at the moment due to a faulty wastegate. I'll ask him anyway :thumleft:

Cool, cheers. I'm interested to know what effect the other engine components have on the spool of the turbo, so him having the identical turbo will be useful.

You should get decent spool with the 0.62. Hopefully you'll flow enough at the top end to make your higher HP target.

I can't find my boost map at the minute, but I think that my FWHP of 483 equated to roughly 420 RWHP.

I hope so, as per my other thread I'm really not fussed if I don't make 400whp, i just want as much power as possible out of the setup i'll be using :)

What ecu is it you're running? The Corolla (and my own car) are running a link G4 :thumleft:

Cool, you can obviously download the G4 software to have a look at the map of the other car, it's free anyway :thumleft:

Ah, I don't need the ECU map, I meant the Dyno plots :thumleft:

ah, I'm not sure if he has them, he just gave the car to the mapper and let him get on with it, I don't think Kris was particularly interested in the dyno plots, I will ask him for you though, unfortunately he doesn't come on here very often
