don't think there's one in my tb-dev one so you may well have a point there...

And to the original poster, not to start a fight, but why the hell did you buy 2 of those downpipes?! thats daft, you should have at least called them up before buying a new one and telling them you were having bother lol :D

I feel i need to reply to this little bit here as Alex is a good mate of mine and a few people have raised this issue,

He bought 2 xs power downpipes because the first one cracked..... before it cracked we arranged an mr2 meet and Alex isnt one to let people down, he tried his hardest to get a different downpipe but he really wanted one of tims Dp's..... Tim was out of stock and Alex needed his car back on the road ASAP for this meet...... He recevied the xs Dp on the same day as the meet and worked all morning to get the downpipe on as to not let people down.

So to clear it up he didnt buy it through choice, he bought it so he could get his car back on the road and more importantly not to let the members of IMOC down. I just think this should be kept in mind before having a little dig at him for buying 2 xs power dp's.

PMSL xspower stop fishing. there all stolen photo's!

The top one was taken outside my house on the patio, the middle one with the blue sheet i got from extremeboost along with a picture of a manifold and twin exit exhaust, xspower america used those photo's on his advertisments on mr2oc.com/ebay to sell his items and was warned about this. Jeff took those photo's

And the bottom one the back ground is a grained concrete/material floor in my kitchen. The red at the bottom of the picture is where my dog knocked over my red caliper paint and i couldn't get it all out.

This was before i decorated.

NOW, either you have exactly the same conditions on your kitchen floor or your talking crap.

But i'm sorry i've already told everyone there an identical replica, i know this myself so a pictures not going to do anything even if you weren't ripping pictures off me. Because i'll admit to everyone they look identical.

This continued lies and acts of trade description have been reported again! I've been warned with a ban for far less so i suggest you let it go before one of us gets removed from this forum!

to prove this, here is another picture of MY downpipe that was taken in MY kitchen, Note this was after i removed the "ct26" pen markings on the downpipe and also please note, The same Floor material underneith. Also you can just still see the same Red Paint Stain in the bottom left corner!

Once again you've been found out in a lie. Now let it go!

Anna already posted a couple of pages back that without suitable proof, which we've yet to get (although we have been in PM contact with both providers - there is nothing concrete yet), it is not safe to assume that they are the same thing.

Enough of posting pictures, posting about your personal opinions, with nothing new to add to it, otherwise we will have to lock the thread, which I don't want to do.

sorry no proof? I've told the commitee i'll send over everything i have to prove there not from the same place, xspower is the one without the proof.

The only proof hes got that his are the same is by posting a picture up of a downpipe that i've now just proved was taken on MY kitchen floor. Now hes either broken into my house and taken a picture, pmsl or hes posting a picture up of my downpipe and claiming its his own.

How much more proof do you need that the picture he posted wasn't even his.

I May be going in the wrong direction here, but surely both parties have one of their downpipes to hand.

Would it perhaps be possible for each party to post a photo with some sort of logo of theirs printed on a bit of paper in the background or something?

Personally i'm not sure it'll prove anything because tim's already said that the units been copied by this korean company

Quick Question: if that company (motoria?) have copied the design (wrong in my eyes) ...
A. Does that mean its just as good?
B. Can't you sue for copyright breach or something?

Agreeing with Leakie T-Bar and Teccyjim above, continued hammering on about it isn't doing anybody any favours.

i've wanted this to die a long time ago, i've been as honest as i can with everyone and provided proof when asked.

I'm not going to comment on the motoria quality of parts but i myself wasn't happy with the quality thats why i will continue to sell the extremeboost version. Some items of there i'll give credit where its due aren't to bad, the strut braces for 1, as i've said in a previous post i've purchased some of the motoria verions and will be selling them at a price onpar with xspower because i was happy with the quality of that item.

Please correct me if i'm wrong tonig but i see i'm trying to be cooperative and helping in your findings were xspower is just throwing up rumours and fake pictures, as proven in the last reply of mine.

i feel sorry for Tim... he's had his product posted up by a competitor and labelled as the New XS-Power DP.

I can see why Tim wants to come back on this thread and put the record straight.

I'd be pretty P'd off too if i was in his position.

Please could you take a picture of your downpipe balanced on a loaf of bread on your kitchen floor?

Seriously though, the picture labelled 'XS power' still has the exif data:

Orientation of image: 1
File change date and time: 2002/12/17 04:24:26
Image input equipment manufacturer: SAMSUNG
Image input equipment model: DIGIMAX 350SE
Software used: COACHWare 1.0
Copyright holder: Copyright 5, 2002
Exposure time: 0.0185185
F number: 2.6
Exposure program: 3
ISO speed rating: 100
Shutter speed: 0.0185185
Aperture: 2.6
Exposure bias: 0
Maximum lens aperture: 3.7
Metering mode: 5
Lightsource: 43981
Flash: 1
Exposure index: 1
Sensing method: 2

This should make it easy for Tim to prove it IS his pipe? The chances of Tim and XS having the same camera are pretty small...

i redecorated buddy as i said earlier otherwise i would take a picture in the same spot again to prove it. i took that pic along time ago when i first got my dealership of extremeboost downpipes, that was one of the first pipes i ever got. I remember because i had to go out and buy o2 bungs because jeff didn't send me any :(

You must have other photos taken with the same camera though? Or you still have the camera?

Probably because most people (wether they admit it or not!?) are members of both. Seen as the original thread started on here, why bother typing everything twice??? Just a thought....
