EBC have a high initial bite but heat up (often too much) to be any good for prolonged periods. they are also 90% of the time too hard a compound for the disc they are being used with. Performance Friction will last longer, provide better a braking force and a more progressive feel will is actually much better for going faster (on a track of course) as the initial bite won't throw the weight of the car over the front and induce a loss of front end grip. subsequently, the back will have more grip as a result. this is down to the construction of the pad being superior the EBC competitor.

Hmm I dunno I have been told the Yellow Stuff is a different compound to Green and red...this came from some1 who tracked a lot and swears by them. I cant fault them....the bite in cold and hot, dont need warming and dont squeak.

They even said the Yellow was better than red for road use... :-k

For years I've sworn by Ferodo DS2500's. Perfect bite every time, and really good wear rate too.

I tried Green EBC's on my Rev3, and they were shockingly bad. Overheating under hard braking and wearing out in no time. Rubbish.

My motto... "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!".

DS2500's for me.
