Well I was yeh, I was going to push the hybrid to 350 - 380 fwhp but think I'm actually going to stop now, spent too much already and pretty happy with her as she is, she's a daily driver after all. I should be able to reach 320-330 easily as is so for another 20-50 bhp it doesn't seem worth the £1,500 I'd have to spend. Currently running 1.1 bar so probably just over the 300 mark at present, need to get it dyno'd.

What bad things have you heard about the Link then? I've only heard good things...

I was talking to rob at perfect touch and he was sayin it is still a basic ecu and not as mappable as the pfc or the f-con. basically he said it was s*** and well over priced. like everything thou i spose different things from different peeps. But as alot of people know on here rob is spose to really know his stuff.

  screwing just went to give the garage some money for the paint and i was told that instead of 1 extra week i was realisticlly looking at three extra weeks till i can pick the 2 up.

Why is it when ever i do something on my car or should i say pay someone else to do some work on it. I allways end up waiting longer than norm???

Well..........im looking at getting a bog standard UK rev1 or 2. I dont want any mod cons at all. Power steering, air con etc but i do want a t-bar in white.
I want a 3sge engine again. I loved the power and sound. I want it slammed on coilovers with HKS filter and Motoria exhaust customised to fit NA. Strip the car completely. No stereo, spare wheel, etc. Light as poss.
16 inch white split rims and a full Toms T020 bodykit.
Im not interested in loads of power as the handling and driving feel is what makes the MR2 so good.
Its something im planning over next 2 years as im gonna buy something small like a saxo to use as a daily driver.

Oh and if i get enough money ill slap a stock V6 in it!!!

Mine went from 3 month to 1 year and still not got the bits(yet)nearly there now thou.Hope they don't keep dragging it out for ya Ian as it does youre head in big time.I found out the hard way.It is the only time that I have let someone else loose on my cars ever. But should be worth it in the end, can't wait for the kit so i can get cracking fitting and painting it etc.
looking forward to seeing your finished car mate :thumleft:

Hi Neil,

While it's in there have a go at attacking the mirrors. Had then on mine and thought they looked like horns. Few people don't like the way they stick up (me inc.) so I levelled mine out.

Just an idea

neil??

If you were asking me I def like yours better but dont wanna ask em to do anything else might not see the car again till next summer. They are all arguing over it in the workshop two of them aint even speaking to each other I dont think they realised how much work was involved. O well not my problem they are spose to be a pro bodyshop company as long as the job gets done prop I couldn't care less if they fall out over it.

While i am on ere if there is anyone on here that is really good at spotting bodywork faults and doesnt mind popping along when i go to pick it up would be chuffed. It is in the Enfield area??

Sorry Ian!

Know how you feel. I had the bright idea of chopping up all the bodykit parts I had and matching/blending them. Six months on and off now the kits been going on for. Did the mirrors myself, but it did take at least 20+ hours just to get the cut and position right.

Hope it turns out as you want it

Would it be rude to ask what you're paying Ian?
