If you're going to paint over it, would you not go with fibreglass ? Darryn has/had one from Replikit and seemed pleased with it

hi i know some one in the uk who has got the border bonnet
and is making a mould of it and i know thay are cheaper than that think he said thay were going to be around £290. if you want one let me know and ill ask. only in fiberglass

spoke to him today
he said that it will take a few weeks to sort out moulds and he has got about 4 to make for customers who pre orderd bonnets for but he dont mess around his got a mr2 for trial fitting on so would put my money on being 100% fit
he made a skyline r34 bonnet for friend was really nice

If he is doing them, will he do an oem and a vented version ?
Is it possible to do a fibreglass vented bonnet and then a carbon fibre "skin" on it ?

Ive spoke to him its still on just takes a bit of time to get things right. Its not worth rushing things like this cos its all about fitment. The border bonnet he wanted to make a mould of turned out to be a bad fit so what he is doing i now is fitting the border vents on an original metal bonnet then making a mould of that . as soon as i know more ill let you all know more
