Screamers shouldn't have too much pipe on them or it could restrict flow. Not that I imagine you'll be needing to divert much gas round that monster.

Anyhoo, I'd have one coming out of each vent or just underneith them. Have flames licking down both side of the car

I dont reckon i'l need to worry about restricting flow with 2x 44mm Tials only relieving 2 pots each

Hey ant, you've got a GT turbo havent you? have you installed it yet?

If not can you give it a 'wiggle' (ooh er) and see how much play it has each way?

Cheers Michael.

Yeah I have, and I wiggled it a couple months ago and remember it seemed... a little playful to be honest. But then figured that all turbos feel like this when they're dry. It will be perfect when its got 40+psi of oil to float on :thumleft:

no worries. And good luck getting that beast on there! I take it you're going for 550+whp if you're running 1150ccc injectors?

And one more thing does any of the turbo gurus know how this compares to the T88? Sergey on the mr2oc.com has brilliant spool for the power (700+rwhp) and size of turbo...

Cheers Michael.

Anyone any info on how these two compare?

Cheers Michael.

best bet is to jump on the US board. They're more familiar with these large turbos.

LOL, My Bro said the same thing!

Im hoping around six-8 weeks to be up and running depending on parts deliverys and any unforseen problems i come across. Ive gotta build myself a 4" exhaust system yet, and source a clutch. The only things i'm unsure of is the ignition side of things? Dont know if I want the hassle of going dizzyless at the mo.

Cheers Michael.

P.s. Anyone know where I can get a 4" bore backbox/silencer in the uk?

Since my GT35R is rated at 600+ that's going to give you a bit more I'd have thought. :D

Your biggest problem will be lag - but am v. interested to see how the dual wastegate set-up helps that!

Looks insane. :eye:

How is a dual WG going to help lag? Surely lag is the result of the cars inability to produce the required gasses to turn the turbine fast enough?

The only thing a dual WG will do is give smoother control, and the ability to run a low boost application. - and look the mutts nuts.

I think Toni's refering to the divided manifold (twin scroll)??

(Toni are you running the HKS stroker kit in your trd?)
