I meant if you had a picture of another MR2 with one on, square on from the front.

No worries lol.

I pick up my rims in a couple of weeks. Can't wait :D

Hmm... after seeing that shot directly from the front, I'm not so sure. I think the Border looks better from that angle. Definately more agressive, but from a 3/4 or side on view, the Do Luck has it nailed. :?

I love the rear spoiler. If only it was a tichy bit taller. but that's just me being picky.

All in all, I really like the way you've got the car looking (apart from the wheels - I think you need either SSR Professors or Work Meisters in black with a polished rim) in those pics mate. Be good to see what it looks like in the metal.

Wicked.

Agreed on the first part. The front view isn't as good as the 3/4, but it's acceptable. Most people (including me :)) will mostly see it 3/4 anyway (except in the rear mirror view).

I can appreciate the wheel comment as well, you either love the Advans or you hate them. SSR's or Work's are great too, but I'm trying to build an MR2 with not-so-ordinary lines and kit choices. Besides, I've always loved the Advans.

Hopefully we'll meet at JAE in 2007 so we can =P~ at each others cars!

 A plan A TEAM  :!: =D>

Met these Dutch boys at JAE and can say they are purist mr2 fanatics who
have a very keen eye for only Japanese products and am confident they are looking for a unique more exclusive look no matter what the cost/s.

\:D/ Cant wait to see it all at JAE 2   7.

How are you Edwin and how is Frederik? :D

Edwin, will get some pics up of the rims when I get them.

I considered the gold/bronze spokes too.

Thanks for the kind words Harry. Indeed only genuine Japanese products will do, I do have some US aftermarket rear swaybar endlinks though  There's not always a choice. But that is indeed the intention: creating a unique and exclusive look!

Thanks Shawn, yours is a big inspiration. Hope to see it in person one day! Will have *loads* of pictures only once everything's fitted!

Just ordered bodykit and wheels in Japan! - Update 01/01/07

Post by Edwin »

Started with fitting the bodykit last week... can' t believe how well everything fits! Barely any modification required - really bolt-on! Now just need to get the Ganador mirrors in place and the Advan wheels (which should arrive this month after a four months wait) on there, and some paint on the new parts! Enjoy the pics!
