Mark do you have a longer final drive in your gearbox?

What rpms are you at that speed?

Did you do that speed on a track with speed measuring equipment?

Yes it does, 7500 is the redline. Not been measured above 165 yet but it was still pulling nicely with 810rpm left to go.

I always found mine pulled continuously in 5th gear, pretty scarey speeds onces your up there too. Before my engine xxxx itself into the sump haha

Can't deny that one. did it at the jtuner thrash and those that were there will tell you i got out of the car afterwards and nearly fell over, so much adrenaline running through my legs.

Yeh I can believe that, i thought i was going to snap the steering wheel, or break my own hands with the ammount of grip i was using lol

I would do it if i had a proper track to do it on, I wouldnt like to think i was coming off the road at that speed! If you do, your brown bread!

Im interested in how you know the ratios are shorter. Have you a new gearbox in there, what speeds doe you get to in 1st 2nd and 3rd?
You may be changing gear earlier because when the turbo kicks in the revs creep up very quickly. :?

All I know it's got a new gearbox that is short ratios, and an AP clutch.

Think it's AP anyway.

And when it's back on the road I'll tell you what speeds I get...

I think he might mean short shifter, not short ratio ](*,) #-o

Why would a shorter gear stick need him to change gears at a lower speed than 'other cars'.

Must have a new final drive or something.

when i phoned around for an AP racing clutch i was told that they dont make one for the two so went for an exedy!!??

have they started making one now??

from the way hes speaking, me thinks this guy doesnt realy know the technical side of things on his car, only the looks - ITS PINK!!!

although without going out now and looking im not sure what speeds i can hit in 1st 2nd and 3rd?! :-k
