is four pots on the rear not going to upset the balance anyway? surely 4 pot front 2 pot rear would be similar altough improved set up to stock.

I could and probab;ly am wrong but i need to know.

many thanks

Jonb- Hi what sizes are you after? PM me your rim size and internal clearance mate, or PM me your address and Ill send you catalogue and price list?

nisnos- I understand what you mean but have been assured that these kits are designed for the mr2 so will work just fine, however you may well want to fit a bias valve to adjust to your own preference.

OK here are the standard retail prices inc the dreaded VAT for the most popular kits. Discount would depend on number of kits ordered but aprox 15-20 percent guys.

FRONT KITS

Billet 4 Conversions
285/22or24mm (single piece vented disc,drilled or grooved) = £564
300/22mm (rotar and bell vented disc drilled or grooved) = £793.13
325/30mm (rotar and bell vented disc drilled or grooved) = £857.75

REAR KIT - INC HANDBRAKE CONVERSION
Billet 4 conversion
Using 300/22mm (rotor and bell disc grooved or drilled) = £922.38

Although these are the specified kits for the SW20 you can obviously specify your own requirements.

Personaly I think I am going to use the 285 grooved kit up front and standard rev 3 calipers with grooved discs and greenstuff pads all round.

I have the 325 mil 4 billet kit on the front of mine and they stop well, but the steering wheel wobbles and they feel like they grip at some points more than others... almost like I have a warped disc.

Also, the front alloys now sit out REALLY wide. I put 20mil space savers on the rear and the front still sits out wider! loads wider than the arches.

7inch wide 17" alloys all round by the way.

There is still life in this then! Good!

I might open this up on MR2OC and see if I can drum up some ,more interest!

Thats three kits so far, 5-10 will qualify for 15-20 percent discount, Ill PM you guys a form to fill in with colours/spec etc tonight.

Was thinking that once we have obtained enough orders ill call Hi-Spec back and see if i can push for a definate 20 percent discount.

Cool obviously the better the discount the better. Its not everyday you spend £1800 on brakes..... :-k ouch... Thats the first time i've added those 2 figures together

I might just go for the fronts depending on the discount...

Yeah, once you add in pads and hoses it can make you do a double take, but then again has anyone priced up for a full front and rear kit inc discs and pads in OEM Kit?

I have.. and nearly fainted!!! :D

If i can get more than ten kits total im gonna push for 25% discount.

You dont ask. You dont get right :D

Too right mate. The more we can get the better. I wonder who else does big brake kits for the MR2.

Might be worth contacting some others and starting off a discount war so to speak :D
