I have a powerflo exhaust on my car and wouldnt reccomend them. Mine is just over a year ols and already starting to blow from the joints as they dont fit them correctly (depends on where you go). They do offer a lifetime guarantee on them but that only applys to the registered keeper of the car at that time, I bought mine with it already fitted so the guarantee doesnt apply. I would go for a blueflame. Im getting one in a couple of months from them

Custom exhausts are good if you have a very particular look in mind, but they are no comparisom when it comes to performance increases. With just a K&N and a Mongoose, we have had customers rolling road with a 15bhp increase! I would be VERY supprised to see anything like that from a custom made.

There is a reason why extensive R+D go into making performance exhausts, it aint just a case of bending some pipes to fit if you want performance increases.

Just had a look on the site for the Tys003, looks pretty good actually. What tip options are there? I'm after rolled in, which I think is how it comes standard, can they do bigger than 3.5 inches and would this cost more?

Re. the sound, do you know how loud it is - difficult to quantify but on a scale of 1 to 10 - 1 being near silent, 10 being NurSpec. And how quiet is it at constant revs such as on the motorway?

Hope you don't mind all the questions but I'm very interested.

The Mongoose is the one to go for. At motorway speeds it is very muted. I have never had a thumping head from it.

Town driving is the best tho - if you hold the revs its very rewarding. I cant recommend it enough.
