Taxed it today for 6 months, warmed it up, boosted it at 1 bar actuator pressure, then put it to the low setting of 1.45bar. Damn I forgot how fast this thing was... did about 15 miles then put it away 
Feel like im getting to old for this game... harsh ride, noisy, the car is just too eager to rev and is always wanting to push on. You lot that run them as dailys have my respect 
in summary; glad to get it out of the garage& glad to put it back in there

Using co pilot for the pfc, it's a good bit of software
The core has 2 custom brackets that cover the underneath of it and then they're bolted to the cylinder head in 3 places, rock solid!

Ah I see, I though you may have been one of the lucky ones with a PFC pro.. I've got copilot too but found it quite clunky so stuck with FC edit.. have you got an in car pc or something to have it running all the time?
Would be interested to see the bracket for the core, I'm considering one of them myself

Do it rob. Mines just been mapped at around 2 bar and the cc is cool as a cucumber. Max seen was 22 deg.

The ls400s are great, comfy, cheap to run, quite rare, can throw literally anything at them and they take it all, they handle ok too for the size and weight.
. The ls460 handles better, but if I gave it the same abuse as I do the ls400, well it'd break every 5 minutes instead of the current 10 minute period it's at now

Not really done much other than drive it.
The map has been tweaked on the top end for both fuelling and ignition timing, feels good!
I went out at the weekend with the MV Agusta F4(pictured in the first page) around North Yorkshire and their great roads... The MV has the edge on the straights, but not by much at all, the mr2 is great fun in the twisties, handles so well! All in all we did about 160 miles, which didn't take long 
Checked the Apexi RSMs peak recordings when I returned home, 
says it all...!
