You can shorten them, I'm not convinced it makes much difference to the ARB effect though. The only time you have to shorten them is when you've lowered the car so much that they start to foul the lower suspension arms- but you need to go pretty low for that! TFS's links are adjustable anyway aren't they?

EDIT- yes thet are adjustable, so yeah- I would shorten them to keep the ARB ends as horizontal as possible :thumleft:

Yes the TFS ones are adjustable. I was having a play around with the arb today though and as its a relatively floating element I wasn't sure if a shorter drop link would have a suspension benefit that I was unaware of...

So when the drop links get delivered either shortened a bit or standard length will do fine (obviously as long as it doesn't foul anything). Cheers :thumleft:

Thanks bud - on one hand I can't wait as I've always wanted a family and its so positive after the last two miscarriages... But on the other hand I'm bricking it and fearing a constant lack of money that is a pre-requisite of being a parent!

How are you getting on with it?
Sleep deprived yet?

Not too bad on the sleep front- she's a remarkably calm baby, and me and Ellie are taking it in shifts, so we're getting into a routine- just means we aren't getting that much time together. Back to work on monday after 3 weeks off- that will be the challenge!!

Hope everything goes smoothly for you guys :thumleft:

I have a pretty much new battery that I am taking out of the MR2 i am breaking at the moment, maximum size, 4yr halfords warranty calcium jobbie that was used with a big audio system, I put a decent size battery in all my cars...The jap cars especially always come with anorexic size versions for some reason.
