Finally got notification through from the DVLA that she is back on an M plate.
When I originally owned her she was on M39 UKL, and when I sold her the chap put his own plate on, K9 JFG. This meant nothing to me when i bought her back and as far as I was concerned simply devalued the car by appearing older than she was.
So now she is back as M9 UKL...dropping one digit. Looks kinds cool having 5 characters. :thumleft:

Will mount my new plates tomorrow but for now a pic of her in her finished glory at last weekends JAE. :thumleft:

I canna wait to see what your 2 will look like, its gonna be mental and an affirmation for you stamping your mark on your 2's ownership again :)

As an aside, have you thought about getting a polishing kit and using that on your turbo heatshield, it'll remove all of the grime etc and you could use a sealant on there afterwards.

PM Gtech, I previously bought some blinged up rev3+ TB etc from him and the shine was amazing and he had used a special selant to lock in the shine!

Its not that bad, just needs power tools working on it

Will be keeping an eye on this :)

Was good meeting you the other day and talking MR2's and about buying back our old 2's.....mr2's forever :bat:

Very, very nice Scott - like them a lot :thumleft: What a shame they don't match that carbon center panel you bought, perhaps you had better sell it on to me :clown:
Every time you do something to this car it just evolves into something better - absolutely no " chaviness" at all just a stunning looking MR2. Weird thing is I don't think there is another colour of mr2 that you could pull off the same trick on.

Cheers mate...Its my never ending ambition to make the car more unique without making it look like a shed!

The carbon panel I did not have in the end. It had a large scratch on it (just visible in the pic) and it would not polish out. Its my dedication to detail..a scratch just won't do! I will get one eventually, but a new one from Carbenfibrecreatons....

Only managed to fit the passenger seat in this afternoon, until the heavens opened up. The drivers is just sitting in there not fixed yet. Also need to fit the seat belt clips and find a nut (think 7/16th UNF) to secure them.

Seats make a massive difference. They are going to take some getting used to! They have raised me up in my seat approx 1"! And being 6'2" tall that is a lot!
I can foresee me banging my head on the T-Bar glass!
