a lot of scooby owners use K Sport brakes :)

I put 8 pot fronts and 6 pot rears including their drilled and grooved discs and K Sport pads in my last Scooby turbo wagon and never had any issues with them at all - yup they cost a small fortune think my set up was around 2 grand but you gets what you pay for.

terms of suspension - my '86 MKIa has BC racing BR coilovers and Tein S lowering springs with Whiteline anti roll bars and EP racing Super Pro polybushes.

I wasn't aware Tein did a MK1 spring.

Pretty sure they don't, plus you would be running BC springs on a BC coilover rather than normal lowering springs.

Maybe they compliment his +30 bhp remapped stock ecu

Surprising that they sold pillowball topmounts & no springs to go with them though :-k

A bit like Whiteline perhaps ?

They used to make springs but not now :(

Coilovers will typically use a universal spring (One of the primary benefits of coilovers is greater spring choice). I'm pretty sure Tein do springs that will fit a coilover setup.
