Do you mind me asking how much they cost you?
All that I have stumbled across so far are £2-300 units for people that obviously know what they are selling on eBay

£85 but they have been painted with a labradors tail and have not been prepped properly so I am doing a full refurb. I thought at first that the mounting brackets were bubbling with rust but it was just the 4 coats of paint underneath coming away, whe I stripped the passenger side mirror down I discovered that the brackets are a light alloy (so wouldn't rust) and got back to metal easily.

The spraying was so bad that the OP had simply popped the mirror glass out and sprayed over the internal adjusting motor, wires, rubbers and even the foam body to bracket seal. I f**king hate bodgers =; .

I have now stripped it down completely, cleaned motors and rubbers, I'm replacing the short loom and clips and the cable sheathing. In all about 10-12 hours work and they will be as good as new, I figured it's worth doing them in Cosmos Blue rather than just leave them primed until the summer when my car is being done.

I must also say that the alloy brackets are well made and the mirror casings are fabric reinforced GRP, so top kit and best of all both mirrors weigh less than my single retrofitted retractable mirror.

I also figured that if I ever want to sell them on at least I can show the work that has been done and justify the prices they fetch.

Done alright there John, Ganadors retail at about £400 new from Japan.

Obviously excluding all the associated costs to get them into the UK.

Thanks Craig, I checked the brackets and could see the SW20 punched into the body and a small black and silver decal peeling off and could just make out the 'G' symbol. It was a good feeling and when he said the price I just had to have them.

I still had the gonads to knock him down from £100 due to the poor paint quality.

 I sent him a message saying I was interested in the bits, and that I'd been looking for them for months and months. A few stressful minutes past as I waited to hear back, "sorry they've gone," or get no reply, or hear they're fakes or whatever...

Tense, tense minutes.

He replied "ok later".

I nearly exploded.
