Is it just the subframe that's different, or are the lower arms/ tie rods/ tca's different as well??

Pretty happy with the BC coilovers I've got already, and already got whiteline ARB's...so well on the road to a decent set up, seriously considering some wide arches for the rear as well though :-k

It would be awesome to get my turbo handling anything like as well as my track car did, just working on some serious weight saving ideas this winter (and a few other little tweaks)

All you need is just the subframe if you get the kit of parts from the USA. If not you will need the TCAs too

My brother and I have two mr2s. One a n/a tin top fully stripped for the mr2 championship and the other a rev 3 turbo for road and track. Both have had full setup by Andy Waters who has prepared the winning mr2s for the last six years. The race car needs to have weight added to the front and performs much better with only a driver. To just take weight out of the front will not help the handling.
Just my opinion.

The best way to get more performance for any car including handling is to add lightness.

So adding weight to any part of the car is a bodge and should never to done unless racing in a class that will not allow parts or settings to be changed from stock.
On road or track cars parts and adjustments will make it handle very well no matter how light it may become.

The mr2 championship is just that and as you are allowed 1200kg inc driver there is room to add some weight back after stripping.
The turbo car was set up for the super gt so the settings are free. Nevertheless it seems silly to not care about the front/rear weight ratio being too uneven.
Neither of these cars has been "bodged". They both handle like a big elise.
I was just saying that if someone wants to lighten their mr2 they would be advised to be mindful of where they take it from.
