3SGTE - Rebuild cost to reach a reliable 450bhp???

That's a fair comment but isn't half the fun having this work done yourself.

The dosh I have spent on my car could have been halved if I'd just looked for a car with everything already done - not as much fun though.

And When you do it yourself or get someone you trust to build you an engine you know it has been done properly, if you buy it already done are they selling it because something isn't quite right? :thumleft:

just have this niggling thought that if I rip out the wiring, then the car will never get out of the garage again.

I have a turbo kit that's almost new which could knock lots off your bill, though I'm going to hold onto it until I've done my first track day with the GT35. The 3076 pulled really well on the track and was on full boost by 4k with a fairly progressive feel. If the GT35 is too 'on or off' then I might de-tune for a more drivable track car.
