I got it from the PlayStation store.

Seems ok, for an unfinished demo. Plays pretty much like BF2, weapons are ok, for a demo....needs a fair bit of tidying up though, some floors are lower than the visual floor, I got spawned into a wall, sometimes you get weapon cross hairs, other times you don't.

I bet it'll ship like that

The discs have probably already gone into production - it's launched in 4 weeks time.

It'll get patched - if we're lucky 8-[

I did enjoy playing it, but I remembered why I got bored of the last two, as mentioned earlier, you get shot, you respawn 15 miles back and spend half the game running back to the action, to get shot and repeat...........

Pre-ordered COD Modern Welfare 3 already :thumleft:

Just respawn onto another player! Job done. Battlefield3 is a brand new engine and game.

MW3 is exactly the same as MW2! I've played it.

Not when your whole team gets brassed up lol

I think I prefer the close action you get with the COD games, I might rent this game out for a weekend when I have my next free weekend in January

Well, I was excited about downloading and playing the beta but after doing this :-s :-k

Let's hope there is some serious tidying up of the multi player before it launches.

Tried to download the Beta, went through all of the Origin crap and it won't install on my system, it would appear from reading the forums where this is a common issue that it won't install on XP, because XP won't allow DX9 or over, which the game tries to install but fails.

SO! EA and DICE have alienated everyone on XP from the Beta test... hopefully they get this sorted for the full retail version, there's millions of us still on XP.
