Just a note to anyone with this game. I downloaded the DLC - Supersports pack (awesome cars) but now I cannot race anyone who doesn't have it!
Totally didn't realise that so if we are gonna meet up, everyone needs the supersports car pack :S

Sorry guys

£5 for 3 cars seems a little steep! i know theyre both cop and racer so you could argue 6, but i cant see how they can justify that? on shift the download pack was 7 different exotic cars for £5. still steep in my eyes, but worth it having 7 completely different cars.... including the mclaren mp4 12c \:D/

That cars in the game already :D. Will say though that the supersport Bugatti is just leagues ahead of anything else in the game. Can leave the other cop cars way behind lol

This game 'kin sucks. Trading it in for somat else.

Hate the not be able to skip the crappy cut scenes. Hate the way that even with nos and the turbo boost, it just makes the car you're chasing speed up by default.

Poor poor game, badly made.

The end.

The skipping scene option that actually shaves 1 second off the whole thing is pointless, the fact you can't skip the upgrade vids is annoying.

The computer AI is very poor, which also makes it quite annoying. If you go in the quicker cars it just makes the competition harder so if you want to breeze though it, pick the slower cars. The GT40 can be very hard to catch on some races and usually comes 1st beating the SLR's/Lambo's etc but if you choose to race in the GT40, even with boost flatout the other cars can just overtake you without boost leaving you at the back of the pack. On harder pursuits you can hit a crashed racer and for some reason it seems they only loose a pixel off the energy bar.

You can actually make a computer racer do what you want in a pursuit, I proved this round at a mates last night as he asked how i'd done a 17 second intecept, He was bashing it about taking over a minute to wrap up the race, I said when you've finished faffing about i'll show you how your positioning and not hitting it will make it hit the 1st road block everytime then you just pin it against the barrier, worked like a charm, annoyingly the said friend is now top of my friends list with a 12:55

It is quite flawed but it's fun and online against friends I don't think any other driving game comes close to this, the hot pursuit mode especially has raised the bar :)

I got this game last week. I haven't played it much as i'm rather busy on Guitar Hero during all of my spare time, but i have to say it's a really great game.

I'd much rather have this over Gran Turismo/Forza etc - it's just so much more fun :thumleft:

Funnily enough also, the game seems to place most of the road traffic on drift bends #-o

2) pursuing racers, I took a short cut and exited at the same time Rob drove past the exit and I t-boned him into a boulder. colossal smash. oops
