yeah, maybe shoot em up isn't the right term but 3rd person action is maybe better?

Although there's just as much shooting in uc2 as gow2

Just cause 2 is another thats better than gow as is Arkham Asylum

all FAAAAR superior than gears of war

atleast someone on here has some common sense lol

personally i think batmans graphics are much better then gears especially on the pc
gears graphics have barely changed since gears one and they looked dated then.
there is a new game for consoles on its way called "ghost sniper" i think thats the title and it blows away every other game ive seen graphics/physics wise even crysis.

but as said before gears is just a 1 track game its just boring an linear

I really like Arkham Asylum, but to me it's totally different to GOW. Gears to me is the Sci Fi version of something like Call Of Duty.

The graphics look far from dated and saying they didnt change from Gears 1 to Gears 2 is daft.

everything in those 2 pics look identical... the second pic just has different textures that they could have used i n the first game if they really wanted.

The 2nd game has twice the detail of the first. Look at the player, its loads better.

the player on the second pic is alot brighter and you can barely see the first 1 so u cant really say that. if you look at all the buildings etc u can see they are all exactly the same with just different textures

Started playing this again last night and i'm still not feeling it, I hate the way they run, feels like you have no control???

I love the original gow though! Maybe it's cos games have moved forward so much since the original??

I can't imaging playing gears on multiplayer though, it must be brutal

Stick at it, all games are like it for a while, then it starts to feel natural.
