There has to be - the union in the passenger footwell also caters for the loom behind the dashboard...

This diagram is in the BGB for american cars. However the engine loom connects in the same place.

Patrick - Did you mean IE1-4 rather than ID1-4? Or is the nomenclature different between regions.

IG1 is encased in black plastic with 2 nuts underneath it and is the battery live IIRC. IF1 and IF2 are the door loom connections.

Nope - ID1-4 plug into IE1-4...! :thumleft:

not strictly true , I converted my UK rev2 na to a rev3 turbo and I kept the UK chassis loom and just plugged the turbo engine loom into it at the fuse box

I didnt have to make ANY wiring changes, only thing I had to do was take the oil level light bulb out of the dash. everything works perfect

cheers again for the advice lads, i'll keep you posted on progress, the car is going to be on the road for the highland drive in march(could be april) with the mr2oc guys :thumleft:
