My dad had an NSU RO80.
Until the engine lost compression.
How did they solve that eventually
- better alloys
?
(Meaning metal.
Not round things with tyres on).

My Dad had 2 x RO80's back in the 80's, in fact that was one of the first cars I did an engine swap on, the things were built like tanks but suffered badly with rust.
