Hi Dan,

The brakes are very good! I have endless front pads and EBC rears and there very sharp! If your a little to heavy whip lash could be possible! :thumleft:

So my boot floor is all dry now and I will be lining it with some 15mm neoprene foam for some extra padding and noise reduction.

Then to refit and cut the boot carpet and get that all fitted back in so it looks a bit more OEM – Then test fit the intercooler and drill the holes for the mounting brackets.

Hoping to get this all done on Thursday as I have a day off then I’m away on my mates stag do for the weekend.

Now I have been thinking about the exhaust, Short term plan to leave the departure in place to get the car back on the road from Peter and then I have been speaking with a local exhaust fabricator whom I have used many time over the years on different projects of mine.

The idea is to run a side exit system running through the O/S quarter intake vent – He does some really cool small barrel silencers which will fit in a treat and he uses these on Mitsubishi Evo’s that run a short exhaust out the front bumper.

The side exit will leave the rear end totally free for the under scoop and my pal has a damaged RX7 rear diffuser that I’m tempted with.

Cheers Craig

Hi All,

To night little job done:

Made a template to cover where the radio used to be so i can mount my boost gauge and boost controller.

Main piece will be cut from aluminium sheet and then wrapped in 3M carbon to blend in a bit better.

Template look.

Ooooh. Pretty. I like that!

p.s. Sorry I haven't got back to you about the exhaust, although I'm guessing you aren't interested anymore if you are going side exit?

Hi All,

Well nothing happening with the car, Just waiting on her being collected by Sbits for her re-build :thumleft:

Should be getting the Keys for our new house next week so with the car away i can get on painting and cleaning the new house - Stress on the horizon! ](*,)

And to make it a little more stressfull i have handed my notice in at work and risking a new venture! Due to fire up on May 1st which should be a challange but very lucrative in the long run

Next up date should be the '2' on a trailer heading to Peter's!

Cheers Craig
