Hi all,

I've had a 1989 MK1 for a couple of months now, but as of yet havn't joined any owners clubs (the previous owner was a member ofthe MK1 club). Something that i'll have to rectify soon . though there seems to be a lot of choice with different clubs etc.

The new forest run sounds awesome, something that I'd love to do; and is very close too . (I live in eastleigh, just outside southampton).

Is the run only open to members? What time is the new forest run likely to meet? from what I've read of the thread 11am is what I can work out. 8am in guildford is a bit early for me (being a student and all )

Wont be ready for this which is gutting. Missed all events that I've wanted to do so far this year. I'm guestimating (loosely) that it will be beginning of August before I get it back.

Guys, this run clashes with Spittingflames and Bradda gibbo's memorial run, would anyone mind if we postponed it to another weekend??

was going to mention this, as i wanted to go on the memorial run, but then found out im 3 hrs away and just wouldnt be able to make it.
I really have no problem postponing it

Ok so I don't know for certain when I'm getting it back, but there isn't that much more to do so I'm kinda guessing dates. If I can't make it I can't make it, I'll just have to go by myself one day...

I think any later than mid august and we're getting close to JAE and rain...

I vote Sunday 17th August, 24th absolute latest but then us who work during the week will struggle to get our cars ready in time for JAE...
