okay so last update was blyton..
i'm not sure if i have put before but i broke the my round blyton stripped the engine mounts out of the gear box..
as much fun as it was i have now fitted solid front and rear mounts with the gearbox drilled and tapped to 12mm and they are very solid and not moving anywhere now

between blyton and snetterton not much happened other than getting the low loader..
Image

so next up was snetterton.. my main competition at this point is Richard Mckay from RRG toyota in his toyota celica GT
i started of with a 1.55.47
after a few laps i felt i was pushing it i was happy i got it down to 1.52.42

but i had kels with me.. she said if i got in the 1.50 then she would buy my racesuit i wanted..
i said i wouldn't hit 1.50.. but after some thinking then some suspension fettling over lunch.. (i wanted that suit) i finished the day with a 1.50.60 :)

which got me first place.. with richard doing well getting a 1.54.08 in second :)

so kels got me a suit...
Image

Kels then announced if i win the series in c street she will buy my cage i want for next year for when i move to pro.

next up was croft.. long long long way for me..

but before i went.. i wanted to sort seat/harness as i hated how much i was moving around in the standard seat
so after much to and fro with simba90 checking sized i purchased a very tasty seat
all fitted in the car with harness.. its awesome.. i dont move at all and what a difference on track!!
Image

YES IT FITS AND YES THE DOOR AND WINDOW SHUT EASILY, there is loads of room

anyways. up to croft in loader.. with company from Ben and phil (Bened&Magic beans)
so got some great photos..

first off what a great track i loved it, as it was so far away i wasn't going ot do it next year.. but now i will be..

first off i got a 1.53.6
c street was a huge group.. but still main competition was Rich..
Ben and phil much help as always told be to stop mucking around and get a 1.50
i was then consistent for the next few outing doing a 1.50.6, 1.50.0, 1.50.9
I lost a second after lunch which angered me..
but the seat was awesome..
Phil then said by end of day i have to hit a 1.49.2
so i did a 1.48.5.

then on the last lap i thought.. right i haven't gotta drive it home.. lets just go for it..
i got a 1.47.2. which i was sooooo chuffed with.
put me quicker that a lot of the celica gt4's and a celica 190 supercharged all in turbo A class!!! putting me the highest place in the series i had been and winning the group by 3.05 second with richard in second with 1.50.28
Richard was doing really well and really pushed hard chasing me to get in the 1.50s

full sheet can be seen here
http://toyotasprint.com/tss/images/stor ... nd5.cl.pdf

next up is rockingham on the 1st november
and 2 days before i have full GP curcuit trackday at silverstone

the car is awesome love the Na engine and the suspension setup i have got.. can't wait to strip weight and move to pro next year and get some r888s on there

some pics..

richards celica

loved the tail action on the last corner everytime

my nice new sparco t shirt to go with the sparco suit

I did get told my exhaust was too noise, so just purchased a black rev 2 with mongoos exhaust on it for 400£
so have now fitted a pipercross induction with piping striaght to it and will be fitting exhaust very soon (pics to follow)

also will be uploading the vids soon

thanks for looking ill shut up now :)

big thanks to kels daisy jackie ben and phil all wh have been pushing me and helping me along the way.. its awesome and i love it

Well, it is a bit tight ;)

Personally I enjoyed how my and Phil's 'racing advice' was basically "Go faster!"

Effective though

Brilliant. Glad your're enjoying the sprint series.

Good to see you have your seat mounted aswell! Although, it does look like a very tight fit.

If my plans go as scheduled, i'll be seeing you in the sprint series next year!

Fantastic. I'm very keen on joining in the TSS but am about to drop another load on the tubby

I'm looking forward to the next update:thumleft:

What are your plans for the exhaust donor? If it's in decent shape I'd be tempted to swap you a packet of biscuits for it and use it for the TSS :D
