4-wheel alignment done. Since doing this I have bought eccentric camber bolts and a new set of wheels... So I guess I will be going back, then. Amazing bit of kit though.

:D They're sh!te!

Nah they're so good. When tyre time comes I'm going to go all out and get Yoko AD08s all round, see how good they can be with gluey tyres. Even just now on Bridgestones (and Falken rears) they are very very good. I am thinking of repainting them though.

Yeah I was thinking the same. Or maybe even slightly lighter, glossy blue.

Or I could powdercoat them cherry red

:!: :!: :!: Cheers dude, looks as good as I hoped!! Shame he's on stock bumpers. Hoping to get TOM's bumpers sorted as well, and maybe the spoiler I have sitting around too. Blitz 03s are too much of a risk, they might not clear the calipers ;)

Funnily enough my rear calipers and the standard rev5 front calipers I sold I painted gold. So at the moment I'm gold on the rear and silver on the front... Stupid. Might do the fronts gold though, yeah.

Haha I am so happy to see that photo.

:D :D :D

TOM's skirts, skirt 'fins' and spoiler now sent off to bodyshop for painting. I am in discussion with a man who has a genuine front bumper available. Also got turbo engine lid soon to be collected. Now only the rear to source... And maybe the TOM's lower spoiler - but not sure if I am that keen on it, at the moment.

Getting all of this professionally sprayed and fitted is going to cost a bomb, but it will look so nice when it is done.

Whether I sell the Rev5 spoiler or not I don't know. Whether I keep the TOM's spoiler or not I am not sure either.

Should be done by the end of the week, sadly time constraints mean I can't drop the car off for a whole day very often...

Yoko AD08s are epically good tyres! They are sooo sticky! My rears went down to slick when using my mk1 and even in the wet, they gripped.

Found it really, really difficult to get any sort of sideways action on the rear. You'd have to have accident trying to get the back out on those tyres.

TOM's skirts at bodyshop, should be on the car soon, just awaiting a call back from the man.

In the mean time, I got in touch with Rogue Motorsport about an old service (June 2010) in this car's history - at the princely sum of £1,700! Anyway, it turns out they keep a photographic record of their work...

I was super pleased to be told they even had some photos of my car from when it was in Japan! One for Karl Bristol this is ;)

It's nerdy, but I am so pleased to have these photographs.

I have been talking to people about this since I got hold of the photos. I haven't looked into where would sell me them but I will definitely chase it up. Let me know if you find anything?

Incidentally, how to read Jap plates:

Nice one, I'd love pics of my car from Japan.

I bet someone somewhere has them from when it was imported! :)
