Well I finally got round to installing the new interior I purchased a few months back. With the help of some friends, energy drinks and fags we got it all in nice and snug. Feels like a new car and im well chuffed. Finished with a new pioneer headunit courtesy of the misses. Its work in progress. Gonna get my TOM'S steer wheel re covered as well as door cards, pillars, gauge pod, seats etc.... all in good time.

Who you using to re-do your steering wheel. I have enquired with a couple of trimmers either no reply or not able to do it.

There's an affiliate on here named EDGEautomotive, I think his name is Steve. he did the dash so therefore ill have him to do my wheel and other bits in time.

Cheers for the comments.

I was gonna say that looks like one of Steve's dashes, same as in Lee's 2GR. Nice touch!

Hi mate.

Just read all 7 pages, in a oner!
It's awesome. And nice to see such a rare car being treated in the way it deserves to be.

Sup people... Thought i'd update the tread a bit.

Ive added to the spec list of parts fited and other parts owned that are just laying around (just to brag).

Ive also added pics below of of the TOM'S intake which I keep failing to add as requested by members.

Ive also attached pictures of the MR2 as it stands now before it being sat on the parents driveway while im now playing with a new money pit... Mazda RX-7.

Much love, the MR2 will be back out in summer.

I still have that, I need to give Luke at Pacific Works to find a decent solution to having them fixed on permanently.

Cheers fella :thumleft:

Sweet, how are they fixed on normally? Guess it could be bonded onto the lights, but then you'd have to remove both clusters at the same time to change a bulb!

hey mate! Pop back in at somepoint and we can remake the piping from the turbo to the airbox in aluminium. Which you could polish to a mirror finish, or your missus could. Would look sweet! 8)

Yawwwwwnnnn THREAD REVIVAL...

LUCOZADE.

Update, after 6 months of being off the road (RX7 FTMFW) it was finally dug out today and taken into the bodyshop to have a new door fitted, battle scars removed, once out, new brakes to be fitted, new rear lights and grill fitment. I gotta take it to at least one show this year! Looking back through this thread reminds me just how much of special car it is.
