 You are doomed to never set a good time it seems :( Maybe my suspension is cursed?

I've gone back to running rev 1 suspension for the strip.

I'll get it, just need to iron out the creases - and get a day when it isnt soaking wet or a 100mph head wind!

he was 3 cars in front of me in the queue and i was having a good chat with him - he was made up with his times and was loving his drag experience.

Such a shame, was a stunning car and he seemed a genuinely nice guy.

I know the weather wasnt great but i thought it was a shame that i never got to meet any people on the stand - came on the village to try and meet some of the community but it never happened, im not the best person for introducing myself - must try harder next time!

I did keep meaning to come and find you for a beer as you were one of the only people there I knew :) but then Dave dragged me off to the bar and the next thing I woke up in my car to the most depressing view ever, being woken up by someone's alarm that was chirping every time someone went near the car.

Yep it was great to see some of you guys, even if it was only for a few minutes, & true stars that they are Pete & reema kindly invited us back to their pad which was very cosy & warm \:D/ :thumleft: & plied us with loads of hot coffee which i Just HAD to drink  , glad we went on Saturday now at least we had a chance to experience the strip for the first time & see the Jet car.... that absolutely made my day  :thumleft: , glad to see a few mk2's give a good performance on the strip & the only MK1 on there too, i think the biggest surprise had to be that really nice looking orange FTO which was actually VERY slow  , the biggest shame had to be the guy who stacked his S2000, you had to feel for him, he looked totally gutted :( .
For those who may be interested either Reema or myself will start a post in the events section regarding the Flame & Thunder event at the pod on Nov 1st, looks really good & we will be going anyway, cheers, Jinx

If you had a ticket for either the weekend or Sunday then you are entitled to a discount for a future Santa Pod event! Just found this on the Japshow website.
Dont throw those tickets away people!!!

Rain-Off Values for Tickets

The JapShow Finale was adversely affected by severe weather. Although there is nothing we can do to change this, we would like to thank fans of the event for their continued support and commitment to the scene, and we are offering rain-out values on tickets that reflect the initial purchase price and the level of disruption caused.

Please hold on to your ticket. This can be used as a voucher to get money off future Santa Pod tickets. The rain-off values are as follows:

Jap-car tickets (both weekend and Sunday) are worth £10
Non-Jap tickets (both weekend and Sunday) are worth £15

In order to use your rained-off tickets as vouchers, either telephone Santa Pod on 01234 782828 for advance ticket bookings, or take them with you next time you visit and get your discount on the gate.

Events you might like to consider:

Saturday Night Special, 11th October. Atmospheric extra-long RWYB session. Details at www.RWYB.com.
Flame & Thunder, 1st November. Great family entertainment event with jet vehicles, fireworks and race cars including HKS Drag Series demos and John Bradshaw vs Steve Whittaker grudge match! www.SantaPod.com.
