GT5 delayed in Japan, still no EU date


Looks like we might get this in time for Christmas if we're lucky...

I think they only set a release date of March so that people had something to look forward too.

Now its been reclassified in all countries as TBD (to be determined).

I learned long ago that release dates and GT games are a recipe for frustration.

I read the paper today and saw the new about GT5 being delayed, and I said lol out loud. But still LOL!
I think it was gt3 I was waiting for ages for it to come out and they kept knocking it back, why do they bother even releasing dates? And surely by the time its come out it will be old hat?

I've got it pre-ordered from play.com. It will come when it comes. Not really worried as I reckon it'll be a good game when it comes out.

I probably turn my ps3 on once a month, so it's not like my life revolves around playing games really.

I do think it will be awesome when it gets here but i still think any dev could do it if you gave them 5 years.

I read yesterday that the Jap release (25th March) was being put back due to "production problems" but the US/EU release was un-affected.

Today i read the UK version is on hold indefinately until further notice.

Something fishy going on, A couple of recent interviews recon the game is actually complete (and will come on 3 bluray discs) and the proposed release date is the same as GOW III and i don't believe for 1 second that Sony will release 2 of their biggest games of 2010 on the same day.

Its been delayed and thats probably all theyve said.

Can probably pull a few thousand website hits with a "new GT5 release date confirmed" headline.

Just speculation.
