Won't go into too much detail as it's fairly pointless.... he wins!
Off the roundabout up to around 100 (kmh ) it was suprising how little difference there was. After then, it came past obviously. Got to admit, the sound of them V8s are sweet.
....But then came my revenge. Alfa 159 3.2 V6 was handed it's ar$e on a plate. They are fairly powerful (256bhp & 237torque) heavy car at around 1800kg though!
After all his hand guestures and shouting every swear word he could think of, he drove off. Couldn't help but laugh at the poor lad hoping to show a whipper snapper in his old Toyota who was boss I've seen quite a few posts now when people beat more expensive cars with idiots who think they have the faster car on the road, that they get tons of abuse for it. Why are they so shocked that a lightweight RWD jap special can beat them?!

Re: Ferrari 360
You really have lit the touch paper there!
You'll now get the 50/50 split. One half saying no matter what, the Ferarri will always be the better car. The other half saying any old shed with 4k bhp and 78" wheels is da best init.
As for the Alfa, pretty, probably sound amazing, break down a lot, not really a comparison. Well done for making him look a tit.

Re: Ferrari 360
You can pick up the early 360s for like £40K now...lovely lovely looking cars! Optimistic I think to have a go though.
Re: Ferrari 360
40k plus that again in 4 years looking after it I reckon Toni.
Would make the Skyline running costs look more like a Micra I reckon.

No old shed with massive power would be better but I would take this for example over most Ferraris...

I wouldnt disagree, it's good looking in a totally different way to a Ferarri but it's still a PROPER fast car, not just an overtuned average fast car.
And it looks evil

Re: Ferrari 360
Boxters are nothing special at all are they, so easy!
Arent the S's about 280bhp?
Then again, a Boxyer S is about £40k new, a Ferarri 360 is about £120k IIRC (obviously new prices)
You have a decent power there and should out drag it.
The difference will be in terms of power delivery, there wont be any lag in the Ferarri and it'll probably have power all the way from low revs right up to the red line. Which I think is 8k + on those?
