A lot of people on here dont have a clue what I have car wise, or what i'm doing, so heres a little pic of my engine to get you thinking. And to promote discussion.



I may even to a build thread on the car (although every build thread I have is 6 months out of date)

Where did you get your oil filter relocation kit I am after one for my Mk1 as i have big hands and burn myself every time i try to do an oil change

^^^^ i was going to ask the same thing! so its got a charge bolted on what else? looks like adjustable pulleys and therefore some cams have gone in too? oh and how come you've fitted a relocation kit if its staying with the standard manifold?

Well it can't be a mk1, so I'm guess something along the lines of an '86?

It is going in a AW11

The oil filter relocation kit is just an ebay one, I had it on my turbo (briefly).

The colour was picked by people on IMOC ages ago

I used the oil filter relocation kit because I had it sat here doing nothing, and thats pretty much the only reason , but it does also give you 2 easy access take off's for sensors so I may use those.

You shouldnt assume cams just because of pulleys, the pulleys are 250g lighter than the std unit. I may change whats in there at some point anyway.

Yep, thats becasue I CBA to clean all the crap off the filler caps I had so spent £4 on ebay, the way I work it out, £4 saved me 30min cleaning, well worthwhile
