I know it has been some time since you posted this but did you ever do a full write up for this mod? You seem to have covered most things in the thread so far but I wanted to know if there is anything else I should know before I start.

Come the new year I need a another project to work on and I happen to have a spare spoiler in my garage.

I've been busy this year (not with the car unfortunately) and have consequently been pretty slack with the write-ups
I have all the info and pictures, just need to put it together into an article.
I'm due home from work this week and I'll make an effort to get the article written this time home .....

I got it from ebay, I'll have to look and see if I still have the sellers name.

This is the stuff I bought, but it's A3 size ( I got A4) CLICKY
If you go to their website CLICKY you can buy A4 sizes.
They were very accommodating with me, they cut me 6 strips 297mm x 13mm (13mm is the width I needed for the brakelight cover) from the A4 sheet at no extra cost.
The actual acrylic seems good quality, hasn't faded in over a year, I'd certainly use them again
