That has been up there for quite a few years but I never thought to mention it on here #-o

Quite telling that it celebrates a car Toyota haven't made for nearly 20 years - hard to see anyone doing one for a Yaris - or a Prius for that matter.

Clearly the Mk1 rocks - and Guildford Toyota agree 8)

not totally but thats probably more crap camera/photobucket than their artistic skills there is a darkT-bar....bar? running form the center of the car front to rear but photobucket shrinks the original to a 1meg size instead of the 3.2mp camera phone size.

And you shall receive Wayne, clearly you are not taking your new sales role seriously here, think about it, I can hear a conversation like his:

Wayne '' hello my name is Wayne Duncan and I represent the TOYOTA MR2 MK1 Club as sales and marketing manager, I am looking for material, TOYOTA or MR2 related for our stand at the prestigious NEC Classic show next year, you wouldn't happen to have anything you would like to donate yes donate ( that means free! ) to the clubs stand would you ''

'' like a 9ft MR2 MK1 picture from your wall ''

Toyota '' whats an MR2 ''

Seriously though Wayne, when are you ringing them, you could hang in on your bedroom wall in between NEC's.

I seem to remember from A-level art that pop-art isn't too hard to reproduce. I'm sure there's an art-student mk1er somewhere that could access a big piece of canvas and...(*counts*)... six block colours of paint :D

The painting could also have been of a rare H.P Schwan Mk1, the company produced a number of mk1 t-bars which had a one piece roof without the need for a t-bar, i have an original brochure here :thumleft: , Jinxy

So H.P Schwan were a German engineering company, I wonder how many they did, it might have only been the one.

Jinx they only did the one FX-1 concept and you have the brochure thanks to santa!

Anymore info on this would be appreciated, I love those polished alloys, almost 70's style.
