Uglee, noticed you were an aberdeen lad.....where abouts did you get your recaro subframes for the mr2 from??


Places in my profile is where I flit between work/home/family, used to work in Aberdeen prior to working offshore. I'm a Yorkshire lad really, but lived in Scotland for last 7 years :)

The frames luckily came with the seats, keep an eye out when they do come up for sale, and don't hang around as they go very very fast. You may be able to get some Recaros from another car and get a fabricators to match the existing frames to the seats. shouldn't cost too much I reckon.

recaro speeds (£50 off ebay from an evo4 fitted with diy subframes) nice seats but just as heavy as stock seats.

They're Recaro SPG's.

The best looking ones so far are the Sparcos

Some very nice seats! Agree the Sparco above are very nice, like klx_boy's combo of seats and steering wheel too :thumleft:

...loads of places on the internet sell them. I got my Recaro Speeds from www.recaro-seats.co.uk . I haggled a 10% discount with them. They're really comfortable and hold MUCH better than my stock leather seats did.

I don't have a great pic of them fitted but here they are on Recaro subframes which Nightspirit got for me.....
